Framed Conch Shell Art

Description

Here’s something different for all my beach lovers out there! This is an original piece of art signed by the artist – see photos. It is a conch shell in what appears to be watercolor and pen. The pen was pressed into the paper to create a 3-D pinpoint effect for added depth and shape. What make this even more unique is the colors. Rather than conforming to the typical blues and greens often seen in coastal art, this piece uses a coral orange and yellow ochre. Surrounded by coral and cream mats, and framed in a bronze gallery frame. Some scratches on the frame – see photos.
