How great is this set?? These collectible vintage Garfield mugs were made by Anchor Hocking for McDonalds around 1978-1980. There are 2 of each design in the set – a total of 3 different designs. The family who originally owned these told me they remember pulling these out as a special treat for the grandchildren during the holidays. That being said…
I have done some research on this and I must tell you these are painted with lead paint that’s WELL above the accepted amount for drinkware. I am only listing these as decorative accents because they should be used as such. These are collectibles that will look great on display, but please do not drink out of these mugs!

There is minimal wear – see photos for closeups. No chips! Designs are still vibrant and colorful.
