VOGUE’s Book of Etiquette – 1969

This purple stunner is a hardback copy of Vogue’s 1969 Book of Etiquette. I have the dust jacket for this, but it is in poor condition. That being said, the jacket certainly did its job – look at that cover! Barely any wear or discoloring – see photos for closeups.  The color is purple with a hint of fuchsia, and it reads a liiiiitle more fuchsia in photos. You’ll find advice for everything from picking out stationary to table manners to “getting stuck” with the same dance partner for too long – some of the areas covered will obviously be outdated and therefore entertaining to read. The previous owner underlined specific notes on conducting wedding ceremonies! There is an inscription on the inside from 1971.
