Description
I added a pop of color to this old print of Lady Hamilton and her dog, originally painted by George Romny. The quote is “The more I get to know men…the more I love dogs.” The neon yellow and pink paint is on a secondary piece of glass within the frame. A wonderful statement piece for eclectic, kitschy, artsy styles!
The bottom left corner of the print says “Supplement to the Boston Sunday Herald MCH 10th 1812”. This actual print appears to be a page torn from a large newspaper or magazine. I framed it with double white mats and a silver gallery frame. One corner of the frame doesn’t line up perfectly – see photos. Might be fixable.
